Willand Rovers are delighted to announce that Aidan Bown joins Ben Watson’s white army for the 2026/27 Southern Football League Division One South Campaign!
Aidan was released by Exeter City at the end of last season after being part of the ECFC Academy since the age of eight. He has most recently been playing in the for the U18’s and is relishing the challenge of playing senior football with Rovers in the season ahead.

Club media caught up with Aidan, as he expressed his thoughts about making the move to the Street this season, and this is what he had to say:
“I’m excited to begin this new chapter and can’t wait to get started with the club. A new challenge for me in men’s football I’m and looking forward to showing everyone what I can bring.”
We also spoke to Ben Watson following Aidan’s move to Rovers for the upcoming season,
“We want to be a club that supports youth and talent and Aidan falls into that category.
Aidan has shown his quality throughout Pre Season and we want him to learn, grow and perform for the mighty Rovers.”
