Willand Rovers are delighted to announce that Tiago Sa will return to Silver Street for the 2026/27 Southern Football League Division One South Campaign!
Tiago joined Rovers at the start of the 25/26 season from Taunton Town initially on a dual registration but made his move permanent at the club shortly into the second half of the season at the Street. An exciting defender and a threat to any striker, Sรกโs work rate and determination shows everytime he reps the black and white of Rovers and his journey continues with us!
|ย ย ย โ Tiago has an attitude 2nd to none and was a vital member of the team last Seasonโ Ben Watsonย ย |
Club media caught up with Tiago, as he expressed his thoughts about coming back to EX15 this season, and this is what he had to say:
โI really enjoyed my first year at Willand, so was a no brainer for me. I know last season wasnโt the outcome we all wanted but with the people around the club and the goals set out for this season, I feel like itโs going to be an exciting one for the club.
Buzzing to get going and canโt wait to see all the rovers fans again! ๐๐ค
We also spoke to Ben Watson following Tiagoโs commitment to Rovers for the upcoming season,
โItโs great to have Tiago with us for another season. Tiago has an attitude 2nd to none and was a vital member of the team last Season.
We want a squad of players who can adapt to any scenario and can push one another. Tiago adds strength in depth andย with his quality, can help us improve and grow moving forward.โ
Interested in sponsoring Tiago? You can now sponsor Tiago Sรก for the 2026/27 season. Player sponsorship is a fantastic opportunity for businesses and supporters alike to associate themselves with Tiago throughout the campaign and play a direct role in supporting the club.
