As part of the village Jubilee Celebrations, Girlguiding Willand are arranging a village trail and Willand Rovers FC are displaying a decorated Jubilee Crown as part of Jubilee Crown Trail.

Organisations throughout the village have decorated a crown, in the style that suits their particular organisation. These crowns will then be displayed around the village; either at a location appropriate to the organisation, or in a centralised location.

Maps will be published showing the trail route to find the crowns. Maps can be picked up at: 1 Elmside, Old Village, the Post Office, St Mary’s Church, the Veg trolley at The Firs, Old village, Willand Health & Community Centre, The Pharmacy and One Stop.

WRFC is hosting an End of Season Party on Sat 7 May at 7pm.

As a big thank you for your support through the dark days of the pandemic WRFC is throwing a FREE ENTRY night of Motown & Soul presented by DJs Tom Yule & Jo Squire on Saturday 19 March, starting at 6.30pm.

Come and dance the night away to some classic hits of the 60s & 70s.

Why not join us for our local derby match v Barnstaple Town in the afternoon too! The club house is open from 1.00pm.
