Shelter UK have joined forced with the football community to highlight the increasing problem of homelessness throughout the UK.

The Southern Football League has invited member clubs to join forces for their Boxing Day fixtures (on 27 Dec) by wearing their second or third kit for this match and to promote the fund raising initiative of Shelter UK to combat this problem.

Here are three startling and sobering facts that illustrate the problem: (i) 91 families in England are made homeless every single day; (ii) Over 180,000 households have been made homeless since the start of the pandemic; (iii) Every 90 minutes, 25 households are made homeless.

Willand Rovers and Plymouth Parkway are keen to help and would ask that all supporters, if possible, help Shelter UK to fight this problem.
