Who plays who
The World Cup 2010 in South Africa sees England in Group C along with USA, Algeria and Slovenia.
They open their group matches on SATURDAY JUNE 12 against USA, then play on FRIDAY JUNE 18 against ALGERIA and finish the group stages with a meeting against SLOVENIA on WEDNESDAY, JUNE 23.
Should England progress as winners of the group they would the play the runers-up of Group D. If England finish 2nd in the group stage then they will play the winners of Group D - the four teams in Group D are: Germany, Australia, Serbia and Ghana.
England in the 2010 World Cup:
The England group stage games are:
Saturday June 12 v USA (8.30pm)
Friday June 18 v Algeria (4pm)
Wed June 23 v Slovenia (8.30pm)
If qualify as winners will play runner sup Gp D on:
Saturday June 26 v runners up Gp D (8.30pm)
Or if runner-up in qualifying Group then
Sunday June 27 v winner Gp D (4pm)
Into the Quarter Finals and either FRIDAY July 2ND (8.30pm)
Or SATURDAY July 3rd (4pm)
The semi finals are on July 6th or 7th (8.30pm)
The Final is on Sunday July 11 (8.30pm)
