Willand Rovers – ‘Very much a family club’

WILLAND ROVERS is a Football Club based on the main road than runs through the Mid Devon village of Willand.

Willand has grown considerably over the past two decades with lots of new housing built and the Football Club has grown with the local community.

On matchdays the club is open before, during, and after matches.

On matchdays, entry to the 1st team games is £8.00 for Adults and £6.00 for Concessions.

Willand Rovers Football Club is a Members Club. All positions below are elected annually by members of the club at the Annual General Meeting which is held in August of each year as per club rules.

From the North – M5 Motorway southbound until Junction 27: leave the motorway and take the FIRST EXIT at the Junc 27 roundabout onto the A38 towards Wellington; continue for 0.5 miles to the Waterloo Cross Inn roundabout –  take the second exit off the roundabout, effectively TURNING RIGHT, onto the B3181; follow this road for 2 miles to reach the village of WILLAND. At the first roundabout take the second exit to stay on the B3181/Silver Street; after 0.5 miles the ground can be seen on your LEFT Parking is restricted inside the stadium on matchdays, but is unrestricted around the ground on the local streets.

From the South – Leave the M5 Motorway at Junction 28 (Cullompton); turn left at the top of the slip road towards Cullompton; after 100m drive past the Weary Traveller Pub on your left; at the rounadbout just after the pub take the 2nd exit right following signs to WILLAND; after a further 300m take the 2nd exit off the next roundabout, signed to WILLAND; after 0.5 miles take the 2nd exit off another roundabout, again signed to WILLAND; after a further 0.25 miles take the 2nd exit off the fourth roundabout onto the B3181, again signed to WILLAND; follow the B3181 for 1.5 miles until you arrive in Willand. Pass a filling station on your left and the ground is about half a mile further along the B3181, on your right.

By Train – get off the train at Tiverton Parkway Station and hail a taxi – the short journey will cost in the region of £6 -£8.
